Just a quick tip for all of you pulling your bikes apart.
Most of the screws on the bike are lock tighted and are very secure.
Getting them off the 1st time will require a impact driver or chemical help.
Becareful with tabs that are hanging out unsupported, you will break them off with an impact driver.  If you have full access to the head, you can use a pair of vise grips instead.

I think a lot of my fasteners had vibrated loose, because there were only a couple that needed exceptional persuading.

really, mine was just the opposite. Can't recall how many fasteners I have broken or nearly broke trying to do this build.

By the way, for those that haven't checked, three more build videos were just uploaded which cover the rest of the build.

had a question after reviewing the three new build videos. You cover the subject of powering the tachometer. You mention using either the front turn signals for power or the horn positive for power. In my case, I am planning on using the horn and the front signals on my bike,  so where else can I get the 12V power for the tach?

The electrical instructions were kind of vague for this electricity moron.

I cant see any reason why you cant tie into any hot wire to get your 12V for the tch. Dnt even Have to cut it, just carefully cut ( X-Acto knife time) the insulation from around the wire & wrap & solder the tack power line onto it.

We're going to do a separate video for electrical. It will be much more clear and simple, with some good close up photos.

Oh...and sorry for the lack of newsletter updates. The newsletters take a lot of time to put together, and we're just too busy getting the kits out. Everything looks great and we'll continue shipping out as many kits as possible each week.

This may be a dumb question, but where are the front turn signals on this cs-1 build? Undecided

Nevermind: I should probably just watch the videos, huh? Grin

their CS-1 doesn't have front turn signals. The Rears are built into the tail-lamp. On mine, I just kept the stocks on the front. Others have used bar end turn signals.
