When in Rome, do as the Romans do.
But the point that seems to be missed is why there are refugees at all. I know that I would prefer to live in my home country and I imagine the same is true with the Syrians et. al. The same issue is with the Central and South Americans fleeing their socialist paradises to come to our racist, classist crap hole of a country.
Maybe the solution is not to transport refugees all over the world but to do something about their home countries to prevent them from being displaced in the first place.

I think the point that's being missed is that this conversation is not about "refugees" in general. but about a very specific group of refugees.
There have always been, and always will be refugees, from all sorts of places and for all sorts of reasons.

It was meddling with them that caused the problem. They have been squabbling between themselves since time immemorial, but we and our allies decided to go Fix things. I'm pretty sure that a bunch of those refugees are really angry at America.

Pretty sure the Ottoman Empire had something to do with that long before we ever came along. And all the world powers before them. History is nothing but a string of powers imposing their views on the world. So, what if the current powers were to work towards making the world a better place? Of course, socialists need the suffering to achieve their goals, it brings down free societies with crushes of refugees and maintains power with welfare vote buying.

I don't believe for a second that our motives were to improve the lives of the people where we invaded. IF that was the object, we failed Miserably. Libya had the highest standard of living in Africa. It's destroyed.

I read somewhere Moammar Gadhafi was in dialogue with Tony Blair before his death and was asking for help
Predicting the current Muslim extremist situation if he was not giving help to combat them.
Not sure what all happened.
Wasn't their some mention of this on Hillary's server too?
