If the side mount fit over the pulley like a belt guard, I would be interested.

The one I'm talking about uses a shock mount and sort of covers the shock, but I've seen aftermarket ones out there that are like one you want.

Any word on whether you guys are going to be offering the license plate side mount like the one on the original CS-1?

Yes, definitely. It will be the ideal solution for those who want a side mount. We're just waiting to see if it works for the tracker and bobber kits before we make a ton of them.

What's this about a tracker kit?  I'm in!

Here's a picture Ryca posted on Facebook of the tracker seat/tail in progress.

Would I need to order the exhaust adapter for the reverse cone muffler if I didn't plan on using the rearsets?

The adapter does two things. First, one end of the adapter fits the end of the exhaust pipe and the other end fits the muffler. Second, the adapter is slightly angled so the muffler clears the brake rod and swingarm. You can also rotate the adapter to adjust the angle of the muffler.

That's a great article!
And the video at the end is really good too; it's a shame there's so much traffic noise in the background, but it's still really clear.
Good for you guys!

Did the bike in the video have a modded or unmodded muffler?

I'm wiring up the tach and speedo.  According to RYCA's instructions, the black wire is ground, the red wire is +12v for the light bulb, and the blue wire is +12v to power the tach, and the green wire is the voltage pulse from the coil.

When I hooked up just the red and black wires for the tach and speedo to just test the lights inside the cases, both lights lit up, but the needle on the tach snapped all the way to the right and quivered.  That doesn't make sense to me.

Why would the needle move from just applying 12v to the red wire?

It's normal. Some cars do that too. Not sure if there is a real function of that feature like its a gage functional check.

I had read the story before but had not seen the video until now.  Thanks for sharing.
More positive exposure for the machine.  Even her mention of the lack of mirrors and turn signals and muffer used and questioning the legality of those things tends to add to the lure of the bike.
I like it.
