Just because I don't comment doesn't mean I'm not loving this build. Keep the photos coming please.

Yes.  I plan to gusset that area both to stiffen the frame and to provide an area to mount the tank halves.  Current thinking is to make 3 bayonets (for lack of a better word) to go on the flat side of each tank and point forward that will anchor the tank halves to the frame.  Cushioned pockets will accept the bayonets and be mounted to those gussets.  Then all I have to do is one fastener per tank to keep the bayonets in the pockets on the frame.

I'll do my best to keep the pictures coming  Smiley

Start of top wishbone.  Found some 1 inch carriage bolt that make nice end caps, grind off label, hack off the head and weld on with no filler.  I plan to have these saddle up parallel to the top tube so the upper end gets finished off so I can weld around the whole connection.

Thanks again for the support.

First piece of upper wishbone in progress.  I'd sooner define shape from a drawing rather than in steel but my drafting skills can't handle these curves.  I think I have some revisions in both sets of wishbones and the axle plates but overall I'm happy with how the lines are coming.

I added a bit to the edges of the axle plates to allow about a 5 degree angle in the tubes, I didn't like the look of the flat connection area.  All roughed in with some tweaking left to get final fit followed by cut and cap of tubes.

Brake tab.  It got a little chunky but it's one thing I don't want to fall off or bend Wink

The tab is important ,but only has to harness the Torque of the friction caused by the tire. And that's not a bunch.
The cast aluminum that engages the tab is plenty stout for the job.

There are many talented and brilliant folks on this site.  This build has been one of the more interesting to follow, just because of how unique the bike is going to be and the "from scratch" methodology.  Really enjoying the little aspects you are showing when picking things out of the pile and otherwise making bits fit or work together.  Been watching it along and also not trying to clutter the thread.  But just couldn't resist chiming in.
Definitely Thankful for this board.
