I think I'm happy with the existing "stance", & will likely run stock length shocks, or very close to it.
I also finished my foot peg brackets & polishing tonight.
More pics to follow! I'm pretty happy with how things have gone thus far!
Next, need front brake rotor, & I think a front brake bracket concludes my bigger fabrication.

The "extra" tab on the backside of the foot pegs is going to be for an exhaust mount.

That seat pan looks a little flimsy.

It's been awhile.....but I've been at it as much as I could be!

Frame, wheels, seat loop, & a few other things powder coated.
New shocks, footpegs & shifter, newer engine tossed in.
Still a ways to go.....but making progress in some way, almost every day.

Thanks!

Mocked up my chain today, & thankfully it clears the footpeg bracket nicely.

Ive always believed that if motorcycles came off the line w/o fenders, everyone would be upset.. dirt, water, dirt & water mixed ( Yep, mud) stuff flies off tires, so
I am a Defender of de fenders,

Keep the fender - it looks the business and a bit different.
Change the tank and I'll buy one  Wink
