Hi Lancer,
I have been experiencing email issues. Can you email me at liffey3 at gmail.com? I will pay for the Carb, DAJ,  UFO and CAM. My Bike is a 2006. I am doing a 17/43 chain conversion and am a little heavy on the throttle, so whatever CAM will help make up the low end loss I will have with the chain conversion is the one I think I should go for. Number 2 or 3? I do not have the bike apart right now so I do not have a CAM to send. Do you have one to send initially? I am ready to go as the bike is being broke down the end of this week to get painting, new tank, wiring fixes etc.  I can pay by paypal when you want.

Thank you,
Jason

Sent you a long email.

Hey, I seen you had two hard chrome mufflers left. One small and one big. Is the small one a direct fit? How much do you want for it? I purchased a jet kit from you last year and now need a 50 pilot jet and also need the TEV spring. Can you hook me up?

The muffler has a 1 3/4" ID which is slightly larger than a stock muffler.  Most folks just cut the center out of a soda can and wrap it around the end of the header a time or two, push the new muffler on and clamp it down.  The thin aluminum takes up the extra space and "crushes" down quite well and makes a very good exhaust seal.  If you ever take the muffler off to do something, I would use fresh aluminum when you put the muffler back to get a good fresh seal.  It is as good as most anything else and costs nothing to do it.The muffler is $50 + shp and I will toss the pilot jet in.

I'm a new S40 owner and net to the forum so I can't PM yet, but I'd like to order a jet kit. Could you PM me?

I know Henryetta. Home of Troy Aikman (at least his HS playing days). Been through there a lot.

Yes, though currently out of some sizes which are on back order.
It could be weeks before they are available.

I don not have chains on hand.
Bikebandit.com is a good source if you need it quickly.

Lancer,  do you have any dyna or other slip-on upgrade that you'd be willing to sell? I ordered a dyna off fleabay and they sent me one with holy baffles. Been told not to spend the money on trying to use it and to buy another but can't find none for less than 60 bucks.

I have a couple of spare mufflers but they are not Dyna's.
One is a "trumpet" style from Apollo Cone; all stainless inside and out and chrome plated.  I used it for a while on my stock S40 but it was louder than I wanted so put a dyna back on.  I has a 1 3/4" straight through core with spiral baffling around that.  It will flow a lot of air.  They are $135 new and are a quality unit.  I will sell it for $75 + shp in you have interest in it.
I also have a Hard Krome muffler, and it is also a stainless unit with chrome plating.  It too has a straight through core with spiral baffling so the sound level and air flow will be similar to the Apollo Cone.  It is new, was made for Harley's and sold for $350-375/pr retail.  I've had this for a while but never used it.  $75 + shp for this one as well.

It is the larger of the 3 shown; all are Hard Krome mufflers

This is the trumpet style
