The Progressive shocks reduced the wallowing for me in hard corners, especially bumpy ones. With the stock shocks the back end would start bobbing up & down changing the fork angle, so I'd start weaving around. I'm riding a lot harder now with the Progressives & I see a need for the fork brace now, which I hope to get soon.

What is the range on the Volutia? Those bikes were carbed so the fuel economy is not quite as good as the C50.
I suspect the smaller tank of the Savage will require more frequent stops, than the 800, I know stock the seat will. Tongue

Might consider lead weights in the bars.

Hi, newbie here! Let me tell you, on the past two weekends down here in PR, we celebrated, two bike shows about 150 to 200 miles away from where I live. (Puerto Rico Bike Fest & Caribbean Bike Week)I just went to the farest, last sunday. The round trip around the island, took about 300 miles on the odometer! Of course we made several pit stops, but the S40 took the beatingof almost 14 hours of riding. The next day off to work like nothing happended.
