This is the 3rd time I've tried to post this message, so if they all finally show up together - please forgive me. I'm not sure whether its my computer or the site.

Speaking of rocks, Mike, we have a big rock, mineral, and crystal (fossils too) show (gathering?) at the historical mine just north of us every year - if you like rocks that much (which I do - now who's the geek?) It's in Park Hills, MO. This year its either on the 4th or the 11th - I'm not sure. Can find out if you're even vaguely interested.

I hope to retire at 60, got 12 years to go. I visit this site nearly every morning & evening, along with the "other" Savage website. I remember when this bike came out & I wanted one ever since. Years of other financial obligations kept pushing back plans & last year I said "I'm 47! Forget the budget for now, IT"S TIME!" Got my S40 & love it! Fortunately, my second wife had no problem with me getting a bike. I told her what Harleys cost! Ride safe. 8)

COL. of TECH in Williamsport,PA. for 23 years. now you know why username is diesel. after 11 years, I still have a faint odor fuel oil, guess it's still in my veins.

messing on the PC,
with occasional forays into Photography and guitars.

I think I'm going to roll way back on guitar, since I finf my Carpal Tunnels feel better when I don't play. I need to save my hands for work and riding.

I'd like to retire now, but got 15 years to go. Sometimes the govt decides to cut back and provide early outs. I'd consider it seriously.

I'm all of 32 (but my physical condition says add about 100 years).
Professional scooter trash. Work in a bike shop. For fun I restore, customize, reupholster whatever inexpensive junkheap bike/vintage truck I can get my hands on. Ride every chance I get. Been doing that for the last 18 years, USA and Europe, civilian and military.
I'll retire when the wife has to put coins over my eyes. You know, when I'm dead. Life's too short.

I've owned and sold, traded or had stolen 75 motorcycles. I think I bleed lacquer...

Not retired yet Lancer..I work a 3 shift pattern, 6 to 2, 2 to 10 and 10 to 6, so i have alot of spare time, on my own when my better half is at work, at different times of the day depending which shift i'm on.

Also working this pattern i never have to ride in rush hour traffic

but a downside is going out or coming home on cold mornings before sunrise Sad

Thank you for you work at the VA. With all the physical problems I have to deal with, the VA med facility here in Columbia, SC is more like a second home for me. There are a lot of really good caring people at the VA that make my life somewhere near normal. Bless you. I will pray for an early out for you.

46, work in IT (DBA), so I have some down-time between crises too, and I have an understanding employer. 2 teenagers. 2 cars, 2 trucks, one bike. I thought about retiring at 55 once...thought didn't last very long.

Guess I'm the pet owning champion... 6 fish, 7 cats, 1 "flabrador" retriever, 2 male fancy mice, picking up a female mouse and 2 hamsters this coming weekend.

Kids? My stepson will be 21 in November...yeah, I really am 32...

Other hobbies: flytying, flyfishing, regular fishing, being an Assistant Scoutmaster and Merit Badge counselor for a local Boy Scout troop. Hard to believe with the tattoos, long hair and such, but I'm an Eagle Scout and honorably discharged former US Navy SeaBee (combat heavy construction specialist).

I'm 41

Father of 3 (15yr old boy, 13yr old girl and a 5 yr old) and stepdad to a 27yr old boy/man and a 23 yr old girl/woman who has 2 children ..so I'm a stepgrandfather Shocked

I work for the Massachusetts Dept of Mental Health as a Network Admin/Support Specialist.
I have very little free time but when I do..lookout!!!
I ride when I can and also do computer repair and artwork on the side, I have a website for my art at www.toonworkz.com which I haven't updated in a long time. That's about it ...Later 8) Mike
