Trump never said that. Trump said that there were some very fine people attending the March that the comment you have taken out of context refers to. There likely were. Not everyone who objects to the removal of historical monuments is a neo Nazi.

"" But the left has honed that particular  political strategy into a fine art and it is a cornerstone of the way they try to frame the argument regardless of what the underlying issue  happens to be. They have been so adept at it for so long that many  members of the cult don't even realize that they are doing it."

"with the racist baggage Trump now has,... to support him as President is supporting a racist."

Even if Trump is a racist, which I don't believe he actually is, supporting someone who is accused of being a racist, for reasons having nothing to do with race, is not the same as BEING a racist oneself.

However your comment is a pretty good example of exactly what I was taking with TT about.

reposting from a comment section elsewhere:

July 15 2019 - ”An internal Democratic poll that is circulating among party leaders shows Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York and Ilhan Omar of Minnesota might be a liability to their party in the 2020 election. The poll, whose details were published by Axios on Sunday found that 74% of those polled recognized Ocasio-Cortez, while only 22% of them had a positive view of her.

Additionally, 53% of those polled recognized Omar, while only 9% had a favorable view of her.

A top Democrat involved in the 2020 congressional races said these numbers risk tipping seats in the 2020 election. "If all voters hear about is AOC, it could put the majority at risk," they said. "[S]he's getting all the news and defining everyone else’s races." ————

Expose the Suicide Vest Squad for what it really is & then force Pelosi & moderate Dems to defend the indefensible! Trump is crazy like a Fox

I can't vouch for this, just simply sharing it  Smiley

That poll, was of white , males, with no college degree.
Trump's strongest demographic.
Virtually his only strong demographic.
So, the leaning is to be expected.

Clearly some kind of sabotage leak.
....but probably a legitimate number.

Not true.

If you agree with Trump that Big Mac's are delicious, I won't say it's racist.
If you agree that there are some fine people in the NeoNazi movement I will.
...but,... at this point and with the racist baggage Trump now has,... to support him as President is supporting a racist.
A President, regardless of Party, is supposed represent us all.  A racist cannot do that.
Trump is not deserving of the office.

I beg to differ, he is the commander-in-chief and his duties are to direct the executive branch of the federal government.  In short, the power includes the execution and enforcement of federal law.

No one is "deserving" of the office of President.

One earns it, by winning an election.

Here's an interesting insight into the House fight over Pelosi's remarks.

https://www.vox.com/2019/7/16/20696932/nancy-pelosi-trump-tweet-racist-chaos

Here's an interesting excerpt... Though Jefferson’s parliamentary manual was first used and then later discarded by the US Senate, the House adopted also it in 1837 — and they’ve continued to use it.

The part of Jefferson’s parliamentary manual that applies to the current situation with Pelosi was adopted from the British Parliament; members of Parliament could not “speak irreverently or seditiously against the King.” Basically, they couldn’t insult the monarch on the floor of Parliament.

Bejeezus, still following your previous monarch. Are you watching WM, and Ray

That final leg of Ryan's political journey had been the most exhausting. Once upon a time, he had been mortified at the prospect of Trump as the GOP nominee, spending much of 2015 and 2016 telling anyone who would listen that the reality TV star was immoral and unfit for office.

Even after Trump vanquished the Republican primary field, Ryan refused to muffle his objections, at one point memorably rebuking the party’s new standard-bearer for making “the textbook definition of a racist comment.” Yet when the time came for choosing on November 8, 2016 — to risk his speakership by continuing to hold the new president accountable or preserve his standing in the party by taking a vow of silence — Ryan did not think twice. There was historic work to be done, he told friends, and quarreling with Trump would prove wholly counterproductive. He could not afford to be both the speaker of the House and the conscience of the Republican Party.

Howya doin' JoG, your meds have obviously worn off so go and top up and repost what it is you are trying to say. Seriously I am interested to hear what you think is 'the point' that everyone apparently is 'ignoring'. Because  you need to reveal what is going on in your fevered imagination, because we ordinary mortals are not mind readers. Not that I'd want to read your mind, just a snippet causes enough neuralgia as it is.
