The Bible is written in a manner that you won’t be able to understand the ramifications if not taught by the Holy Spirit.
And even then, it can be a struggle, AND your understandings change, as you grow into a deeper relationship with God.

Is it everybodies, absolutely not.
I tried many attempts to read the Bible and to “find” religion within its text.
I got more from a barstool and a beer, or so I thought.
The understanding of sustainable happiness eluded me, as I desperately wanted what I saw in others.......
It took me 50 years, to finally come to a understanding, and that was only after I finally, in total, surrender MY will, to God.
I was gifted the Spirit, instantly, and what use to baffle me I could now understand.

Do not let my story hamper your investigation.
If your desires to enlightenment are true, you will be amazed.
On the other hand, if you are looking to prove prophecy false, you will fail.

The book you should want to look at is Revelations, try a new world version, as it is written in a more current manner, however, it will read as sci-fi no matter copy you get....
Scholars have spent countless hours on trying to explain it, good luck

It is pretty special to read about the want to protect the white Christian man in USA considering it was him who basically genocided the original Americans out of existence and took their land and then went on to hold slaves  

When I was a teenager many decades ago, my biggest dream was having to ability to go back in time to cirka 1500, but bringing a modern helicopter with modern weapons and waste the white man as he tried to step onto American land. Since I am not a killer, I probably could never have pulled it through, but I sincerely believe the white man raped the original population so bad it defies description.

Speaking of killing; I find it rather funny that so many Christians are fan of guns. Thou shalt not kill doesn't say "unless you feel threatened". It says not kill. Period.
