Nothing wrong with having a years worth of filters around. Or more. Five oil changes for twenty bucks. I use these. I've studied used ones. They catch stuff.

To put it to bed, the newer T6 has adequate ZDDP but an increase in moly which may cause the Savage clutch to slip, right? Which puts us back to using T4 or something more expensive.

No....you need to go back and re-read the thread again.

The current round of T6 (CK4) is just what the Dr. ordered and is perfect for use "as-is".

The previous round of T6 that was CJ4 had too much moly - you won't likely find it on any shelves anymore (although I did see a left over bottle of it at Advance Auto).
