MM, you know I really want to go see the Arkansas roads. The state of Arkansas actually promotes their roads for motorcycle riders.

, I'll spring for the camp site and bring a 8'X10' tent --- you bring your own sleeping gear. I'm using a blow-up twin mat after seeing how easy Old-Rider made it look last summer .

Even then the Front last twice as long . I thought I'd never wear-out that Avon Road Rider , and I never did ! It dry rotted too.

Aren't you glad I gots me two of them .....

Put the new tire on -- after castigating the inspector for using a penny to try to judge tread instead of a real gage I got sick of his bullshite and left.

Cycle Max will mount a tire for $15 -- I didn't know that -- and they stand good for pinched tubes too. We got one here in Fayetteville and they mounted my new tire for me and did a credible job of balancing it too -- $15

Honestly, we don't know yet.

First you get slack/rattle, then you put in a Slavy 2 hole tensioner extension.

I've done that, and I am now waiting for my original cam chain to start rubbing itself in the middle, which is the next stage of things.

How long this takes, who knows?

Very very few of us go to the next level as we get old and die first ......

The thought of wearing through my two stored in oil superchains is sorta ridiculous, I can let one go I think.

So you have any idea the measurement of the tensioner extension and mileage when you opened it up to do the Versy?

Some folks can get 28,000 miles before needed the extension, others only 10,000.
