how she finished up.    best parts are what isn't seen...all the bodges fixed.

Ride impressions?  did 10 miles today:  faster than I thought.  gobs of torque - noise adds to the sensation I'm sure. very nimble, no wandering, no harshness, except for minimally padded seat.  brakes excellent.  Very predictable.  Its in the garage now, in the corner, under a sheet - tender on the battery.....       Embarrassed

Looks great Mike...a vast improvement from what you started with. Did you ride the bike at all prior to your rebuild? If so I'd like to hear your impression between the RYCA fork solution and the Race Tech fork solution.

As I sit here in the surgical waiting room.....I'll tell ya.   I only did a small ride.  I didn't have it registered and it was 19 degrees.  So, my pre purchase test ride was limited to :  it runs and is properly titled!

There were also safety issues.  By inspection,  I couldn't believe he even rode the thing.   No brake stop, loose wires..... i just didn't have any confidence in it.

Runs great now I'll tell you.  Just wish for a better seat.   If I keep it I'll adress it.

Good luck with the surgery. Hopefully Dave's cushion/pad design will be a way forward for us. When you're ready, lets meet up for a ride.

Well....I am working on it.  I didn't notice it when I was there....but that color dark color in the center of the foam looks bad....really bad.  That is where the hump in the fiberglass pushed the memory foam up when it was glued to the base....the blue foam is used to level and shape the seat.  There will be another 1/2"of softer foam put on the top and another 1/4" of foam under the entire covering.
