OK, mid-August for Dave's Scoot & Shoot & Catfish Wars --- we can refine later.

Looks like rain here this coming weekend.... so the Thunder Beach Run will be a little wet....
Got to keep an eye out on the weather for these events.... I did a dragon run a couple years back with a bud, rained the whole weekend, we rode the dragon once even though it was sprinkling. We spent most of the weekend in the Microtel lobby and dining area just talking to other bikers.... was ok, but kinda a waste of dough.

As we approach each one (that I am going on, anyway) I always post a monthly weather thingie. It isn't accurate for much until you get inside the actual week before, but it does plot the major weather patterns going through which is what we want anyway.
I know we said we'd use the farmers almanac for next year's events but this is available now to answer my question about Cincinnati weather general patterns.

85 for a high, 64 for a low -- can it get any better than that?

Yeah, we use it 2 months out and it drifts day by day and is sort inaccurate until you get two weeks out then it stops drifting and becomes more accurate.
I think they use a long range algorithm until 2 weeks out then use a much better short term algorithm.
Since Blue Ridge allows you to cancel 2 weeks out, it is good enough for that duty.
Big Dog locks you in at one month out, which still has you out in the fuzzies.
I like Dave and Old-Riders cancellation policy the best.
