Dave, you have pms. OK, that does not sound good. You have pm's. That's still not quite right. Hey, you have personal messages. Ok, that's better.

No...it is a secret covert plan to replace your poly fill air cleaner element - with one using Uni-Filter foam! Wink

That's not a secret, folks have already done it.   Uni-Filter foam is good stuff, but requires removal and washing in solvent every year, which makes it a little bit of a pain in the butt.

It isn't very thick either, 1/2" is the thickest it comes in.   Plus it tends to be a wee bit more expensive (like 3 times more) than the Poly-fill material.

No, Dave's got a secret --- he's gonna keep it too, which is good on Dave.

I can't go anywhere until it gets well into leaf season as I am tied down with 3 weekends upcoming of events and football games.

So I am just taking little trips locally to keep my wrist in shape.

We shall see what the boys plan out for organization of the candy store of new ride events that are out there now.

Cheesy

Yeah baby, even a 6 pound catfish on ultra-light would be an astronomical fight --- might bust the rod.   If Dave's pond has a smooth bottom, he'd have to geek eventually.   But if there is any tree stumps, etc a canny catfish would wrap the line and bust it.

My grandpa (adopted) taught me how to catch several fish at a time!

1/4 stick or even a M80 (which used to be 1/8 stick), wax the wick, light that puppy and lob it into the pond....  Shocked Shocked

of course you might not get anymore fish for about 2 years if its a small pond  Roll Eyes Tongue

but you can eat good for a week or two  Grin

And if the pond is small enough......there won't be any water left in the pond either! Shocked

M80 fishing is apparently PC unsavory and somewhat wasteful fishing -- I think MM and I will have more fun with the ultra-lites.

In truth, one 10 plus pounder could be filleted and feed the lot of us for one meal.

And, I think Dave likely feeds some deer and a few dozen rabbits, too .....

.... but we will leave those alone beyond scoping them and saying "Bang" as his wife thinks of them as pets and would NEVER understand us popping one for an impromptu caveman barbecue.

She could care less about the Turkeys - but they only come around when I am busy with other stuff, and go into hiding when it is legal to shoot them.

Chicken Breast out of the freezer section of Wal-Mart are a lot easier to clean-up for Cooking !  Wink

Last Friday night the weather was miserable, we went to the Woolfest and it was rainy and cold, Saturday was the same, and on Sunday the weather warmed up and it has been great every since.  This week has been perfect riding weather!

You can't always get this good weather predictably, and we have had some snow flakes this time of year----shame you guys aren't up here to ride this week!
