Welcome.  This is a real good place with good folks.

Rubber side down  -  mechanical questions
Marketplace  -  to buy or sell
Cafe  -  pretty much anything
Tall Table  -  anything of a political nature

http://suzukisavage.com/cgi-bin/YaBB.pl?num=1181745927  -  This is a good starting place for tech related stuff.  Best regards.

Welcome and am a Washingtonian as well.
Their are a few of us here and we all enjoy
riding our bikes.
We will hopefully all get to meet up sometime
this year.. Again welcome to a great forum.
You will discover their are a lot of wonderful,
smart and intelligent people here that can and will
help you with any questions concerning the bike.
Again welcome and don't forget to post pics of your
bike and yourself. We enjoy reading of your rides and
looking at pics as well.. Hugs.. Smiley kim

WA native here who got smart and moved away.  Wink

Used to ride mine to work all the time, from Buckley to Auburn, Tukwila or Fife. As long as you steer clear of T-46, Harbor Island and West Marginal Way, you couldn't have picked much better for Seattle use. Watch out for the container haulers, they really can't see you...

Lot's of decent rides in your area. If you like socializing, Taco Tuesdays and/or Taco Thursdays at Alki, Royal Bear in Pacific, Yella Beak in Enumclaw or the City Hall Saloon in Cumberland (between Enumclaw and Black Diamond) are fun. The road to the Carbon River entrance to Mt Rainier is a blast, watch out for ELK and BEARS at Wilkeson and Carbonado. Leavenworth by motorcycle is a treat, go I-90 and US-97 for one leg, US-2 for the other. The Highland Games in Graham and Enumclaw are nice day trips. So is the Octoberfest in Enumclaw.

Our friend who helps on our farm is Wallingford-Ballard born and raised. He rode out there from the early 70s through 2011. I'm Spanaway-Graham raised, rode out there from 87-94 and again from 05-early 2011. Blew out my lumbar spine in 02 or I'd have been riding out there from late 01... Feel free to bounce any ride ideas off either of us.

Quite a few WA/OR Savage riders, both sides of the "rock pile"... er, "Crack Head" mountain range...  Grin

Hmm... I liked the "Kawazuki" version best... kind of a "ZRX1200 and a Rubble (Rebel)250 had a love child" theme.

Did the city ever fix all the potholes on Alki? I broke the front I-beam axle on a one ton truck there... Cracked the kingpin eye, and I wasn't even speeding.  Shocked

If you ever make it down to "roached out pieces of monkey shi*", er, Bent Bike, down in Auburn, flip the bald guy the finger and tell him Jeff and Doug said to F-Off...  Wink
