I scaled the pix down so that they should fit on a large monitor (1500px wide).

When you ask about sprocket size are you referring to pitch/width or tooth count?

For those running Windows, press "CTRL  - or +" to reduce/magnify picture size on your screen;
press "CTRL 0 (zero)" to revert to tthe original setting.

CommanderChaos, I have a chain conversion and fitted by mistake  Roll Eyes Wink a slightly larger tire;
chain conversion is 17/49 (2.88:1 final drive ratio as opposed to 2.96:1 for the belt drive)
tire size is 140/90x15 as opposed to the original 140/80x15.

Final drive ratio is overall longer and speedo now underreads by about 5%;
I tested it yesterday on the freeway with my GPS mounted on the handlebars, indicated 100 Km/h was 105 according to GPS.

Thanks for the pictures  Smiley

PS What's the tire size on the rear, pl-eeeze ?

CommanderChaos again I really dig the bike and the concept that your Dad achieved  Cheesy

A few Q's-
-You mentioned that he narrowed the swing arm, but did he have any clearance issues having a 19" rim on the rear?
-Any problems since raising the rear of the tank? Does he have a Raptor on there, I couldn't tell from any of the pics.
-I know he made his own mid/standard foot pegs, did he run into any particular problems in the process?

Thanks!!

The fenders were blank aftermarket pieces and he spent some time fooling with the back to keep the tire from rubbing it, nothing crazy, though.

If you look at the pix you'll see the footpeg brackets are made from steel plate which involved some fabrication. The worst of it was hooking up the brake linkage. I would have wussed out and used a cable, but he used a secondary lever, also in one of the photos. Preferable for looks, reliability and low maintenance.

Commannde, that is just how I dream of my bike looking. I think I noticed a british front end on there. I love everything about it. The alum rims, seat , standard pegs had to be a pregnant dog to make . And is that a larger diameter custom bent header pipe?
