Picked up another bike

I picked up another bike this week, a 1986 Harley-Davidson FXRS - one of the few HDs I would consider owning.  I got it from an older guy who was disabled and couldn't ride any longer, but rather than sell it as it sat in his garage, he had it fully serviced - new tires, battery, braided lines, gas tank (old one got rusty inside), fresh paint, new oil cooler.  The thing runs and rides excellent, and has everything I'd want - Vance & Hines pipes, S&S Super E carb, Progressive shocks, forward controls (never was a fan, but fits me nice on this bike), and a nice easily removable windshield (already removed it!).  Got it for a song!

So yeah, I might be half-heartedly selling the Savage to appease the wife, who says I have too many projects, and I can't really argue that.  Roll Eyes Grin

Well, just because it is for sale does not mean it is going to "sell".  I've had things for sale before that never actually sold.  You never know, you may just be "stuck" with 2 bikes forever.  Yea, sometimes you just have to buck up and "take it", ya know ?
By the way, nice Harley you got there dude.

you state your wifey says you have too many projects....uummm,neither of them look like they are being worked on,so they're not projects hence her argument is invalid, therefore you may keep both bikes   Cheesy
