CommanderChaos, please accept my congratulaitons... your customising the Savage is one of the most elegant renditions I have come across in a looong time !
I am extremely interested in how you moved the
footpegs to the rear, in order to give the bike a "classic" stance, as I have been considering such a change myself.
I also like the
sprung seat and would like to know if the seat is a "modified Savage original" of an aftermarket item...
...in which case, how you went about fabricating the front mount and fitting the rear springs.
The front fork appears to be original (but I am not sure) but I would like to know how you went about locking the
front drum to the fork tubes... did you bolt it to the caliper mountings?
Rear wheel: you could have kept the original drum and relaced it to a 18"-19" wheel; instead I see you went for a completely new wheel: what size tire?
Last... was the "
bottle silencer" sourced through Royal Enfield ?
And the air pump really fits in the overall picture !
Againm congratulations for an exquisite job !
