I was worried about you..thought maybe the indian (MC) guys had got ya.
Sorry to hear about the run off....if you are almost healed by next winter, comon up and shovel some snow, it'll loosen those ribs
Please take the time needed to heal thoroughly, you don't need a self inflicted reversal ya know. take care and keep us posted.

Best of recoverys to you, Lancer. What is your rehab protocol like? I'm a PT and I'd love to know...but only if you're up to it.

Tomorrow starts the hard core therapy. To get me back to a functional human again
The past few days I've actually felt like a real person instead of just one big ball of pain
Next week I get a new CT scan to see how the lumbar vert is healing... That's the biggie right now
If that is good then I can get rid of this brace and take a real shower again... Might even get back to my own place again...that would be nice !
Thanks for all the prayers gang !

Lancer, great to see you. Well at least
words from you.
Continued best wishes for a full recovery.
It may take a lil while, so enjoy the pretty
nurses and therapists..Just careful on the
pinching, you don't want to leave any bruises
on them..
Hugs to you bud... kim

All I know right now is that it begins today...beyond that I have no idea of what the have planned. They no doubt told my last week when they did the initial eval by my brain is still traumatized and my memory is brief to be sure.
Will post later tonight if I can still function by then.

Lancer, sorry to hear about your fall. Remember if you have been down all you need to do is get back up. Luck with the rehab.

Went to rehab and they said I could do more already; strength, flex and function than they can teach so no need for their services. That was good news and made me feel good. All the workouts with #1 son the past few months has obviously worked well for me. My physical fitness may very likely have saved me more serious damage at the time of impact too.
Can't ever know for sure but seems to make sense.
Today I had a new CT scan and will talk to the doc on Wed.
Hope I am doing well enough to get rid of this hard shell brace.

Hey Lancer, that is great news.
You must be over joyed now.
I have read where one being in
good physical shape helps ones
body to heal faster.
Now we know it is true. So what
is the first thing you have planned
to do when you get rid of the
turtle shell?
Man I could have fun
autographing and drawing on that..
I wish you all the best in your continuation
of your recovery..
