That is some beautiful fab work there. As a machinist, my hat is off for you.

It's not just the weld jobs, the machined parts are simply beautiful. Not too easy to machine those shapes. Do you own a CNC, or work with one?
If the pieces were done on a conventional mill, then it is even more incredible, because that takes some serious skill, especially the last part for the push rod. Is it stainless steel?

Thank you. Most of the parts are done manually. I am a CNC machinist by trade and every now and then, when I get a chance, borrow a friends machine when it is not tied up.
The pushrod mount is just 1018, it looks pretty shiny though. I will not be painting this swingarm, just probably clearing it so it wont rust. eventually ill strip the paint from the frame too.

I got my rocker arm and pushrod made. Still need to make the bearing block and weld it to the frame.
I have alot more welding, cutting, and grinding to do to the frame. The bike needs to be ridable by thursday, thats 2 days. Lots of work to do. I can handle the fab work, its the wiring issue I hope I can get resolved.

Swingarm is done (for now). Im going to ride it as is and determine if I need to brace it further. Everything is an experiment on this bike.

What is the diameter and wall thickness of the exhaust header?
Is it stainless?
I'll bet your exhaust system weighs 1/5 of what the stock set up weighs.

After the recent thread here about fork braces, I still think with your awesome skills, you could make a great fork brace for us, sell them a little cheaper than tkat, help a bunch of people out (who don't want to fork out so much dough) and make a pretty penny for yourself....
I don't comment on this thread much, but always enjoy your updates. Awesome work!

Looks awesome. I really enjoy watching you constantly take this to the next level. But how does it ride?

You have a unique skill set to be able to visualize what you want and then do it.
One question- at what point does it did it cease to be a savage?

I guess it's a matter of the VIN numbers.
