LOL! I kinda like to use a cane pole with a bobber/float (or none for bottom-fishing) and a bell on the end of the pole to tell you when something bites. Bait it, toss it, and kick back with some beer. Then you just check the bait every hour or so or if the bell rings.

OK, go ahead and brag...LAKE IN THE BACK YARD!!
That would be nice for sure, my inlaws lived on Lake Murray here in SC for about 25 years. I am not too far from it but NOT ON THE WATER.
Anyway, sounds like a great plan to me...I think it should take me about the entire day to meander around the lake...stopping here and there to take pics.

Why don't we just gas up and go now, and ride around lakes until Labor Day gets here?!?!
