I expect I can add a day if needed without a problem.  I may go ahead and add a day beforehand.  Still thinking about it and watching the weather.  Our last 2 camping trips we’ve had our tent destroyed by storms in the middle of the night.  I really don’t want a 3-peat!

I saw checkout is at noon (12pm).  I could evacuate my tent site early in the morning, and then hoping I could just park the truck and trailer at the ranch house or next to your RV (lol).  Then I could ride all day Tuesday and just head back to Houston in the evening.  I’m just making this up as I go along.

Note: you can’t make good Texas tacos with lean cow.  You need the fattiest greasiest nastiest ground beef you can find!  Maybe you drain the fat, maybe not. lol.

Now that Youzguyz has been riding his Triumph Rocket III for a few years, he should really feel at home on it!

Ummmmm.... cough, cough... Rocket 3, not Rocket III.  I did not like the look of the III (looked like a locomotive).  When the 3 came out, and I saw one in person, well....  Roll Eyes
And I am not at home on it as much as I could be if I rode it all the time.  I still prefer my Savage motorcycles for most riding.   Switching back and forth between the two makes for interesting times.
The Rocket will probably be used for one of the day's rides.   But NOT the Sisters!!!!

BTW.. I could not see Dave's media video link for some reason.   Here is the link.

You learn something new everyday!  I didn't know there was both a Rocket III and a Rocket 3! Huh

Now I've got this song stuck in my head...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=evtmVZFeooA

Sing along now...

The only two things in life that make it worth livin'
Is guitars that tune good and firm feelin' women
I don't need my name in the marquee lights
I got my song and I got you with me tonight
Maybe it's time we got back to the basics of love
Let's go to Luckenbach, Texas
With Waylon and Willie and the boys
This successful life we're livin'
Got us feuding like the Hatfields and McCoys
Between Hank Williams' pain songs and
Newberry's train songs and Blue Eyes Cryin' in the Rain
Out in Luckenbach, Texas ain't nobody feelin' no pain
So baby, let's sell your diamond ring
Buy some boots and faded jeans and go away
This coat and tie is choking me
In your high society you cry all day
We've been so busy keepin' up with the Jones
Four car garage and we're still building on
Maybe it's time we got back to the basics of love
Let's go to Luckenbach, Texas
With Waylon and Willie and the boys
This successful life we're livin' got us feudin'
Like the Hatfield and McCoys
Between Hank Williams' pain songs and
Newberry's train songs and Blue Eyes Cryin' in the Rain
Out in Luckenbach, Texas ain't nobody feelin' no pain
Let's go to Luckenbach, Texas
With Willie and Waylon and the boys
This successful life we're livin's got us feudin'
Like the Hatfield and McCoys
Between Hank Williams' pain songs
And Jerry Jeff's train songs and Blue Eyes Cryin' in the Rain
Out in Luckenbach, Texas there ain't nobody feelin' no pain

Kinda, sorta, but not really.

I emailed you google links for all the routes on 03/26.  Did you not receive it?

Probably my bad or aggressive spam folder.  I’ll take a look.  I was just trying to follow the green line in your original map we were supposed to memorize.

Luckenbach is a fun place to stop and relax for a bit....and buy touristy stickers for your guitar case.  And a $5 beer is not all that objectionable to us tourists.  We even bought a metal "Luckenbach" sign and have it posted on our outdoor shower!

It is even better if there is somebody playing music while we stop by.

The chickens wandering around are a bit cool as well!  Two years ago when we were there the lady was trying to get the chickens to follow her to the coop so they could be locked in for the night - one rooster was being a bit ornery.  The lady went over and grabbed the rooster and tucked it under her arm - the hens followed along behind her!

Luckenbach, Texas, a sprawling metropolis of music, food & fun.
One of the highlights of the hill country.
Yes-sir-eee.

See y’all next week.
