First off those bars are bada$$ , they look great !  Lengthen everything those cables are unsafe , we all have bad days you don’t need a automatic whiskey throttle. Brake hose & wiring too. IMO it’s worth it. Your bike looks very cool and those bars are a must for it.

Thanks for the feedback Ruttly, I always appreciate your perspective  Grin

What makes you say the cables etc are unsafe?

I went over them all and there is a little bit of play in all of them at full lock in both directions. Also nothing gets pinched between the forks and the tank.

I assume you're seeing something I'm not!

Clutch cable looks ok , but the throttle cable looks tight in the pics. Just lookin after you , maybe a throttle cable from a buckhorn bar model might be longer. Lancer might know he sells the carb kits. The bike has sexy shapes & lines. I would get the wiring up on the bars for a cleaner look too. Guess I gotta find me a low mile Savage when I finish the tracker. Maybe a single seat then trash it up with some leather saddle bags & tool bag on the forks but otherwise lookin like your bike. Sharing knowledge and ideas is why this is a great website.

Maybe a small useless mirror on the bars too. I realize everybody’s tastes are different , motorcycles are a very personal thing.

The mirror I have on there is smaller than it looks. It's only 3" diameter which is quite a bit smaller than street legal here in Australia. It took me ages to find that mirror online!! I believe it's based off an old style Honda mirror.

I did try some tiny black bar end mirrors (They must be something like less than 2" diameter). Very nice looking in their own right but I didn't like how they looked on these bars. Plus, they are incredibly convex ...  so a car that was sitting on my tail literally looked about 50 metres behind me. I found that very disconcerting.

You mentioned the throttle cable looks tight (thanks for watching my back!). I can confirm it's not tight. I rotated it to near vertical from the switch box to tidy up the look. There's plenty of excess there.

I really am stoked with these bars.

Oh, one last point about them. They're Stainless Steel not Chrome. So they can scratch more easily but can also be polished back up. What I like most is they have a slightly darker sheen than the 'white' sheen that chrome throws off. Getting into minute detail here ... but I find it fun  Grin

Those look great on your bike.  Nice find.   My LSL Flat Track bars are 33" wide but a little lower I think.
