Greetings!  My name is Matt and I just joined today.  I am modifying my original post thanks to the timely recommendations of other members.  I am an active duty Master Sergeant in the Army (Infantry) who moonlights as an amateur motorcycle mechanic.  I ride a Triumph Scrambler.  My daughter has a 2003 Honda XR70 which I put into fighting shape for her.  My wife and I just picked up a 2001 Savage because her first bike (a 2004 Suzuki Volusia 800) was too much for her.  We love the Savage!  I am also tinkering with my first bike which I purchased with my own money when I was 15 (1995), a 1974 Suzuki TS 185 Enduro.  I am doing a partial resto because, thanks to this pandemic, I have the time.  I really look forward to learning new things from more experienced folk in regards to the Savage.
