HAHAHA.  I let my guard down for sure.

Me and my siblings have been making light of it as early as when I was laying in the hospital still bleeding on the gurnee. Not taking this lightly by any stretch, but we learn from our mistakes but I can appreciate the opportunity for some good razzing too.

We have all been singing songs back and forth, such as "cut's like a knife..", my parody of "I fought the saw, and, the saw won", nine inch nails "hurt"....you name it...it's been thrown in my face.

I had recently swapped the trim blade for the rougher multi-use blade. Had I not changed them, that cut would be laser precision straight.

I have a nice video of the ER doctor peeling my hand open and poking and pulling at things. Happy to share (not here...PM me) if you think you can stomach it  Shocked

That method of inspection is not recommended for the faint at heart.   Smiley

Thanks Bob! He surely helped me dodge a bullet. I will probably have some permanent nerve damage on the backside of my hand but nothing that will slow me down.

Wow Stewy the paw looks real good ! How does it feel , is it all working ok. Grip test it yet ? You should do it in privacy of your own home. The difference in grip strength is pink and purple , purple would indicate a full recovery. Don't forget to wash your hands ! Grin  Grin Grin Grin Grin

I did something similar to that some years ago about half that length and 90 degrees to yours Took out some tendons and some nerves
Took quite a while to come right and have lost a tiny bit of feeling but the end result is way better than the medicos predicted.
Dont even think about it now.  I was lucky and they did a good job

Wish, I could post the video, staged, of a man attempting to start a chainsaw with the bar between his legs.

Okay,... that's gonna' be a really cool looking scar once the hair grows back,..
...but I don't think it was worth it.

Seriously,... it looks like it's healing up nicely...  Cool

Thanks gang. Yeah, it is healing well considering the circumstances.  I have pretty much full function other than the numbness on the back side and some swelling that comes and goes. I have full feeling on the fingers and palm so that is a relief. I cleaned up my little Ninja 250 today (gonna sell it and upgrade to a larger sport touring) and took it for a quick shakedown and it all felt normal as far as riding is concerned.

Ruttly, it was really dark purple. Does that indicate superman strength?  Grin Grin Grin
