Pointless puttering

So, the basket case was missing the front motor mount spacer. Of course, I had to make it out of aluminum rather than get a used stocker, so as to save  1/2 ounce.

Armen!  You rascal.  Is that an oil pressure switch I see just above your trick spacer?  What can you tell us about that?

DBM,
I bought one of those KOSO speedo/tach/idiot light/everything gauges.
It has a bar graph fuel gauge on the bottom. No use to me, I says.
Hmmm
It goes by resistance of the sending unit...
Hmmm
So does an oil temp sender!
Bought a Bosch oil temp sender, made a threaded adapter, and put it in the threaded oil galley.
Cause offers a few resistance ranges to meet the variety of gas gauges. Hopefully one of the ranges fits the resistance range of my sender Smiley
