All I want is to change the seals, flush out any crap, not looking to modify anything. I'm looking for the most straightforward approach. I'm sure I got dirt jammed in it. Long stupid story..
Fwiw, checking the dive by running a tie wrap around the tube is not a great idea. Well, if you do it, do it, take it off.

Got a chunk of dirt.seemed like I had won, but then I hit a hard edge at a railroad crossing and it started weeping and then it started with the arterial spray. I'm planning on a long trip this summer, so I think I should actually just do it now.
