Survey - Does your bike have the infamous oil leak

Just curious as to how common the infamous head plug oil leak is, and if newer models still have the leak. I have a '12 and it has the leak.

Could you please reply with your bike's model year and if it has the leak or not?

Or if you're a dealer or shop mechanic, sharing your experience about the frequency of the leak would be appreciated as well. Thanks all!

I some how doubt you will get replies from dealers.

It is 1 of the 3 known problem areas. (Head Plug, Petcock, Cam Chain Tensioner). The headlight is somewhat anemic - but it is reliable.

2006 with 24,900 miles...no leak...guess I'm lucky

I once bought a 2000 with only 10,000 miles for 500.00 (claimed he had a blown head gasket)...I pulled the engine, replaced the head plug with sealant and swapped out for a verslavy mod, buttoned her up and sold to a friend for 1500.00 bux no leak...

As far as I know he's never had a leak and has let it sit in his shed for the last 4 years which is kinda a shame after I got everything right...
