Evil can never be harnessed, only destroyed when it reveals itself.
I no doubt evil exists, just as the Holy Spirit does in my life.
I wasn't evil, prior to being saved, but I was a leaf blowing in the wind.
It sounds stupid, extremely weak, but I sense its the truth, as I reflect back upon that person (me)....
Circumstance influenced me greatly, and if I was in a certain state of body and mind, I am sure another person could have taken advantage of that......
You might question what I say, fair enough, but look honestly how we are influenced, and controlled, by what others say and do, politicians, and the media, being two examples.
Americans have led a pretty sheltered existence when compared to this world.
I have talked with many who grew up in other countries around the world.
It is one of the perks working for a large company that likes diversity of work force.
The stories of just living, daily, how death was just a norm, and that no one was granted any exemptions from its visit, boggles my mind.
Anyway, before I started rambling.....

I was wondering how can we ever expect to stop such evil, if we are to remain free?
Its a loaded question, I know, its a balance we seek, but goodness, this man appears to have started on some journey, decades ago, we can never have such resources to ensure stuff like that never happens.
