You can't attribute the cause to socialism.
It is corruption.  Corruption can happen in any form of governance...
Just look at ours now... Roll Eyes

Yea, What a  Statement  !!!!

But instead of, ‘Supporting’, ‘Stand behind’, Someone who is,
TRYING, to,   NOT,   Further the, ‘Kiss & Lick”,  Politics.

(Has  Trump done some things that are not, ‘Koser”,
Sure, but they are like,  Ford, falling, UP,  Steps)

But when the, “Kum-By-You, Fairy Dust Sprinkling, Snowflakes”,
Continue to degrade,
                JUST  TO,  Degrade.

It most certainly appears that those are,
In  FAVOR of,
  “Corruption in governance”

(Perhaps, it is what they are, ’TOLD’, to say)

It really was just attaching a form of  government to one source of income - when the price of oil tanked, so did the experiment. :'( Grin

Libya remains the only successful socialist experiment I've seen.
Too bad we murdered the architect
Idiots celebrated

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-05-18/venezuela-forty-years-economic-decli...

If the Plan is to feed, clothe, house and provide medical care for the people, Ohhh, educate, too, you better have exports to pay for it.
Read what the Libyan people had going..  it was Absolutely Nothing like the media said. Absolutely Nothing..
And we destroyed it. And idiots celebrated.
If you celebrated, or if you supported Nafta, you really should stop talking until you get a better understanding of how things really work.

If I was wrong as much as most of you, I'd STFU,

We are in the process of bringing Venezuela down, just like we did to Brazil. Our banks and business want to tap into the money there- regardless of what they want. So its financial regime change and screw the people.

Can you expand on this, please.
Is it globalization in general, or something more along the one world order power play?

The US is a Wallstreet/corporate/banking economy and they pretty much control the country - bought and paid for. The GOP and Dems areon the same side (money)- but like student council, they attend the same school and do what they are told to do. Trump and Bernie were wild cards that slipped in - unplanned - and actually backed by regular common people.

They are reigning Trump in slowly. - Venezuela broke away from business as usual (extreme wealth disparity with Chaves. He nationalized some industries. Ever since the US and business here has wanted him and his policies gone. He died of cancer and flipping Venezuela back to the way it was has been a goal of the US. (We like to be in charge, good for cheap oil and quick profits.) So we are doing our best to push things to the edge and topple this government.

Here is a good discussion of Venezuela.
