In about a week or so I should have pictures with the final purple paint.  It just got buffed out by the painter and I am supposed to have the parts back this week.  I have seen the side covers in the Stryker purple and the color is awesome!

Does the S40 average about 40 miles per gallon?

Should be 50-60 mpg depending on your grade of gas.
Less if you scare the hardly driven crowd.

There's no problem that a full tank of gas and a sunny day can't fix!

If I ride all calm and peaceful.....I get in the high 50's.

When I ride in crazy in the mountains......my mileage can drop to the low 40's.

This has to be one of my biggest disappointments about this bike - not a big enough gas tank.  When I ride to work every day, I have to fill up a couple of times a week!  Pain.  And on short 2-300 mile trips into the mountains/hills of NC, a real pain, because gas stations are few and far between!
