Guys, I Really Thought I was gonna mount a milk crate after removing the passenger seat. Got it mocked up and it looked seriously
Mucked up.
So, I have the sissy bar and can pull the pad and do some drilling and tapping, mount some verticals, put a big backpack on,, but I'd like some saddle bags. Rather not hafta move lights, b u t I can.

Anyone have any suggestions?
I'm wanting something big enough to get rain gear, a twelve pack. Functional, not some matched pair of clutch purses.

You'll have to figure out saddlebag brackets... You can get by without moving lights, but they have to sag down like you see here.

They came off my 96 nice chrome free you pay to ship! Was going to screw them to garage wall to hang stuff on air hose, fishing nets , misc skulls , etc

I was going to go for the small, but found a deal on the mid-size on CL. They're not on my bike right now, but they fit right up to the turn signals without having to move them.

My bags look like those in the picture. I cut and doubled layered them under the rear seat under the electronic box thingie and now they ride really high (and nice). Since they are flexible the turn signal is no problem. Those brackets under the bags are a must , but homemade ones will work just fine too. Wink
