I suggest that we keep it to single-cylinder, air-cooled bikes. I'll start with this Panther 650 that sold on fleabay recently, a great example of a long-stroke thumper:

Front and rear drum brakes and dual exhaust from only one cylinder. I would love to see this bike up close. Good job sir. Most interesting.

Looks like an old brit bike, but I didn't think they had shaft drive, looks old school with new rims and brakes. BMW? (typed in single cylinder motorcycle on Google)
