Update: Metro PD confirmed to The Daily Caller that they are treating the incident as a “suspected hate crime.”

A female security guard working at a Washington, D.C. grocery store was arrested Monday afternoon for physically escorting a man out of the women’s restroom after he refused to leave because he identifies as a woman.

The shopper — a young, African-American male who identified himself as Ebony Belcher to local news outlets — reportedly passed the security guard on his way into the women’s restroom at a Giant grocery store in Northeast D.C.

After seeing Belcher walk into the women’s restroom, the security guard followed him in and ordered the man to leave. When he refused, the security guard had to physically escort him out of the women’s restroom.

What if there's only 3 bakers in town,.. and they all object?...
Then, what if there's only one tux rental?..
Caterer?,.. Dj?,.. Wedding shop?...

What if providers prejudice makes it impossible?...
And should they have to go place to place in order to find service that isn't bigoted?...

If a customer wants what you provide,... and is not being unreasonable,... you should serve...
If you don't want to serve paying customers, you should find a new business...

How about I decide I don't want to sell cake to fat people?... or people over 40?....

I don't Fail to see anything. I see it all. Both sides. And the fact is, a Business Owner has the Right to do or not do as his conscience directs. You, as an atheist, are unable to grasp the true meaning of that. A Cake is not essential to life. We Arent in the sixties. Society, in general, is enlightened enough to be tolerant of the NEEDS of others. I don't think the baker would have let them starve or be stranded for want of fuel. A Christian would not. You pretend you're the arbiter of right and wrong, and have about zero grasp of property rights and contract law and how someone who sees the world and their place in it could be torn by a request. Don't you think they knew that, at best, they would fail to make the profit from the sale? Do you really think that, as a businessman, he looks for ways to avoid a Sale?
Do you understand what level of conviction to stand for principle that took? No, because you can not understand Where it came from, nor are you able to delineate the difference between refusing services, as in, offering for sale to anyone, any product or service, OTHER THAN choosing to accept a contract to provide Material Support for the Holy marriage ceremony of queers.
