Oldfeller: Aunt Bee's serves breakfast all day - so it sounds like you can have your breakfast there anytime.

For music.....that area is bound to have something going on. When I worked as the Music Coordinator at the Cincinnati Appalachian Festival I hired Kenny and Amanda Smith from Meadows of Dan, VA. Jim Lloyd and Elizabeth LaPrelle from Rural Retreat, VA. Steve and Penny Kilby from Mouth of Wilson, VA., and Wayne Henderson from Galax, VA.

Well, according to the reviews breakfast is about the safest thing to order -- hard to mess up breakfast. Too many Yankees doing reviews for the BBQ ....... no consistency there at all.

Floyd's Barbershop and the Mayberry Courthouse is there as well ....... MM can pay to have me locked up all over again.

Yup, looking to see the size of the crowd has ALWAYS worked to spot the good eateries.

You see, you and MM will be all beat up from doing the nastiest slowest curviest portion of the Blue Ridge Parkway (the one we have ridden both ways 6 different times, dark tunnels and all) and when I show up all fresh and frisky at Mayberry with my new bionic ticker clocking along at 120 BPM you might jest have problems keeping me in check .....

Might have to give Barney his single bullet and send him out to go get me ....
