Interesting story in my local paper this morning about the Bundy standoff and it's basis in Mormonism due to their strong ties to the American west. Hadn't seen those linked before. Anyone else heard that?

My local paper, The St. Louis Post-Dispatch, is as worthless a piece of trash as there is..........  as Richard Nixon correctly pointed out one time. The writer of the article was born in the west, but moved to LA as a youngster. Growing up in LA and growing up in 'the west' are two vastly different things! The article was really just commenting on what others wrote. I saw a similar article in Time.

I'm wondering if some of you our west recognize this Mormon/anti government as being a real thing.

The guy who works for us in Boise is Mormon and has views similar to Bundy and anti-government west crowd. I just never thought there was a religious component to it.
