Is the sign going back up at my place.

Had 2 idiots today, parked halfway in between 2 No Trespassing signs, to ask if the bikes or the old Dodge trucks were for sale. Um, there are no For Sale signs on any of my toys, there are No Trespassing signs up, the entire community knows we are always armed and consider trespassers to be poachers or rustlers...

Or should I put the cable noose over the tractor splitter A frame and hang up a sign saying they will be lynched?

I'd have thought the kids who's little tuner car I perforated a couple years ago would have spread the word that the place is 100% off limits... Even the neighbors stay off the farm without a specific invite.

You know how often birdshot is used to ward off trespassers...

Others will load coarse salt...

Over here yonder those "in the know" use diced pork rinds (the tough outer skin...)
It's "non lethal" but it becomes... ignited... just powder and pork rinds, no wadding  
It doesn't sting... it burrrrns its way through jeans and into buttocks !  
Mighty hard to identify with X-ray, too, as it's organic...

One Spring I was in the woods, picking Morels.

but don't want to hassle with the parking,

I am thinking I can just park on your front lawn".

They said: " Well you can't do that, we Own that land".

Then, (not quit so, 'sweetly'), I said:

"Where the Hell you think you are NOW".

They, promptly left.  

Gee, your place must be inviting. Don't be here signs, I'll SHOOT you signs, and STILL idiots walk in your yard and not just look, but decide to Sit on your bike?

I can go either way on this one.

On one hand, I myself am an isolationist.
Don't come near me, and we'll be fine.
I've lived in my house for 10, going on 11 years this June. I know one neighbors name.
I don't even wave to them.
I keep my head down and my mouth shut and everyone plays nice.

On the other hand, I was looking for a particular car for a project. I would drive by someone every day who had what could've been the make/model/trim package I was seeking. One day I saw it on jack stands. Then it never moved for about 3 months.

I was talking to an older friend (probably close to 60) about this. He said he used to go up and ask people all the time. He scored some sweet VW bugs that way. People start projects, get in over their heads, and just want out... sometimes.
I would never have the balls to go to their door step and ask but he did. I guess it's a generational thing? Anyway, they didn't want to sell the car.

It never hurts to ask? But also, leave me alone.

When we were getting ready to deploy to Bosnia, the Army sent some folks to train us, since SeaBees hadn't seen combat for awhile. One of the soldiers showed us his "Muzzy burial prep kit", consisting of MRE sourced dehydrated pork and an airline bottle of cheap booze.

At Scout camp in the 80s, we convinced a Muzzy that breakfast sausages and bacon were made of goat and therefore okay for him to eat...
