I can go in April, but we need a definite date(s) so I can request the time off
might even have the turn signal replaced by then

How about April 17-19th weekend ?
or 24-26th weekend ?
Any thing but the 10-12th
I'm still flexible. I'm looking forward to 4 to 6 days.
If you require a date, pick one so we can start working towards it.

I'm flexible, too, I'd like someone who'se less fotunate to suggest a date, so we don't 'date' someone out
Also,if this works out, maybe you could stick a versy adjuster in your pocket before the ride down? I don't need it yet, but hey if you have one and are in the neighborhood, quick cash sale no shipping

The two weekends being considered are:
18->19 (7 date range 16->22 )
OR
25->26 (7 date range 23->29)
This takes you to the reservation page for the Kerrville-Schreiner Park
http://tinyurl.com/n4lkwbn
Click on the Riverside Mini Cabin on the right of the map.
Fill in the dates, click search and look to see what is available. It shows you all the camping and cabin areas.
Available Min Cabins now:
16-22 dates:
Riverside 6
High Point 8
Group Area 7
23-29 dates:
Riverside 6
Highpoint ZERO
Group Area ZERO
So, lets get a date!

Riverside looks high density with a long walk to the restroom
High Point, low density, short walk
Group Area, low density, short walk
Hpt. and Grp are set back from the Hiway, so likely to be quiet except for all the bikers

Not that it matters to me, but it looks like High Point has the longest rest room hike.
Satellite views all at same scale.
Orgin Point (white dot) is closest rest room
Destination (red marker) is furthest cabin of the group
Ummm.. ignore the route. You will be walking, not riding!

I'll be going. If the count gets close to max on a cabin, I can just commute each day.

I can be there either late thursday or friday morn.
If someone wants to check in thursday, they'll probably have to rent the cabin. Not sure if you'll need the credit card you paid with to get the room, but I suspect you do.
If no one else steps up, I'll rent the room for four nights starting friday.

MMRanch:
If you are going to take the Trace it will add hours to your ride. From Nashville to Jackson I know someone that took it and they made it in about 11 hours. If you go the interstate through Birmingham it should take about 7. I haven't done the whole thing, but it is relaxing ride. Just don't speed and I think the speed limit is 50 the whole way.
Best regards,

Versy , your just a little further away than I am . Mine's just over a thousand miles. Maybe we finally found a central location ?
I'm in for sure (barring a major unforeseen event) . I'm looking up the long range weather forecast next.

Natchez is only about 5 hrs (or so says yahoo maps), from there to Killeen is 7hrs... so its roughly half way.
My other route is I10 straight through..... at 11hrs 42min..
Going from here to Natchez and then to Killeen would be state highways...much more satisfactory I would think....
I think the wife still wants to do the dragon thing in june-aug?
So i'll have to round up some funds.... LOL... or just stop playing pool this year....
I'm a "wanna go" "iffy"
..... my health is better, so should not be a problem...

Unless you have a reason to go to Killeen, I just want to make sure you know the place to go is Kerrville. I would hate for you to end up in the wrong town and wonder where we were!!
