Check this place out :   Mini cabins $50.oo / sleeps 4  and looks nice !  They allow 6 per room ,  I can bring a cot , and we might get the price to $10.oo a head after taxes .  Wink

That looks nice, but we should find out how they would charge...

cabin, truck, 6 m/c's, and 6 heads.
if it's $50 +4x$5 +6x$4 = $94 + tax

I think that would be a deal breaker.

Well , the news is ****  Smiley

Cabin after tax  .................... =  $56.oo  Smiley
Vehicle fee        ...................  =  first 2 free , $5.oo each for more  Smiley
Entrance fee      ...................  =  first 4 included , $4.oo each for more  Smiley
Extra over 4 people  .............  = $3.oo(cabin), $5.oo(Vehicle), $4.oo(entrance)

So four = $66.oo total after tax. and $12.00 a head for up to 2 more people,  according to Tina (parks and recreation dept.)

Smiley

Also Tina suggested we make reservations before the end of February  for a Spring trip .

3 people ... $61/3= $20.34
4 people ... $66/4= $16.50
5 people ... $78/5= $15.60
6 people ... $90/6= $15.00
6 people 2 cabins = #20.34
7 people    ........  = $18.14

What are the odds of us getting 12 to show ?   Huh

Hope my math is right  Roll Eyes

Me too
I got the rear tire replaced topday, now I need to get the saddlebags from ebay with the lights, like Old rider put on his bike (I think it was Old Rider)
I been putting this off a long time, but thae inciden that took my tire also took my turn signal (actually I did it unloading the bike off a pickup by myself) and the bags cost less than the factory turn signals  Grin

Those bags I put on the wife's bike are really flimsy.... and the wires are like 24 guage... really thin.., a pain to work with.
The wife still likes the extra storage though, and is fine with them. I started to hook up the lights but decided not too, I am terrible with a soldering iron  Grin
But I covered my butt by putting on some red reflective tape... and it really shines up at night!

Hmmm, wonder if anyone makes a bette set the same way
If not, I still might get them, worst case I have to reinforce them and rewire the lights (I do'n't know how to solder, but I am hell on wheels with a crimping tool, and have a Klein crimping tool, the only one one that actually works)

Savskad and I  have been doing some jaunts around the area.  Here are some pics from the most recent excursion.

Sure hope some of you can make it for the April excursion!

Is this going to be just a weekend?
I'd like to stretch it out a little further if I can.
Friday travel won't be fun and neither will be Sunday.
So I'd like Thursday night thru Monday morning at least.

I sure hate being left out - but it is a 20 hour trip each way for me if you don't count stops along they way.  I just don't believe I can make it work, that is about when my day job picks up and I get busy.  It is easy for me to go on the Dragon Trips....it is only a 5 hour drive away.

Be sure to take plenty of photos to share!

Texarkana is about 460 miles out from Kerrville
I think JOG lives somewhere around that "general" area.  His avatar says "East Texas, 1/2 dallas/la."

980 miles in 2 days!!  Shocked   More power to ya!
