It will be sad for the few that did benefit, but there are other charities that apparently are run much better. It also would make me happy if the entire "loaned executive" thing was abolished. That IS a misuse of taxpayer money.

Wait, are you saying you are in favor of ammending the Constitution to give Congress the power to decide who gets freedom of speech??? Shocked

Hopefully, I a reading that wrong. What about all the Soros-esque billionaires who fund all these shadow groups? Can we shut up all these hollywood celebrities now? Can we take MSNBC, CBS and CNN off the air finally? Not like they contribute much anyway, let the Whitehouse push their own talking points.

Money does not equal speech... if it did, some people, and all corporations have much more right to free speech than others do...

Taking the old adage... "If you repeat a lie enough,..."...
Those with enough money, can bend the minds of the public into believing anything...

If money is speech... it renders most of us, mute...
The truth is up to the highest bidder...

If the Constitution needs to be amended to correct this, so be it..
I don't believe it does... because, I don't believe the founders intended money to be equated with speech... but, apparently the SCOTUS does...
So,... amend away... Huh

Money is money and speech is speech. The SCOTUS said having money doesn't disqualify you from free speech. Politicians need to fear the people or a tyrrany will evolve. Look at the Veteran abuse scandal, just another of the many that plague this administration, the 1st Ammendment is fine as it is, the only way it can change is for the worse. Nothing will be gained from stripping away people's rights.

Study after study has shown Fox News viewers to be the least informed and most often misled...

NPR listeners are the most informed...

Thus,.. muzzling Liberals is suppressing the truth...
Rupert Murdoch and the Koch brothers are telling lies...

This is fact...

You can whine about Liberal billionaires influence all you want...
...but,... there is a difference in suppressing truth, and stopping lies...
...but,...SCOTUS decided, in a case involving Fox News, that the right to lie is protected speech..
A lot of Conservative money is spent spreading lies.

Well, I wouldn't know about that. I watch NPR, BBC, and our local news critters, and I read the WSJ and the Washington post. Not exactly the bastions of right wing wackery - and I still think he's a terrible president.

I rarely listen to any radio - talk or otherwise.

edit: why is it that anybody trying to defend this failed administration blames FOX news for public discontent? Even administration officials use the tired line: "it's all FOX news causing problems"..REALLY?? the presidency is made or broken by a TV news source?
