Coax,...   Grin Grin Grin
All those zero's do look good,... so does a speedo that goes to 160!...
...but,... you're already in the Hall with 25k miles.
Your next goal is 80k kilometers... that'll put you in the 50k mile tier...

Keep ridin'!.... Cool...

PS... thanks fer' the pic...

For the record, Thumper did 35,269 miles before I killed it, about 30,000 of them were mine over the eight years I had it -- about 3,800 miles/year.

The Vespa now has over 15K miles, 5K miles/year.

Not a huge milestone.. but, 120,000.  And still going strong.
(I don't use the stock speedo, the velcro is where my phone case mounts)

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut between the seat and the handlebars. Make sure yours isn't too tight or too loose.

Thank yew, Thank yew very much!!
I would like to thank:
Verslagen1, for the verslavys, a critical engine component (at a reasonable price)
Lancer, for the nitrided cam chain (still ticking along), and critical components at reasonable prices.
Dave, also for critical components at reasonable prices
Shell, for Rotella T6.  An oil that does what we need (at a reasonable price).
My wife, for understanding that life with me would be even more difficult if I didn't get out and RIDE!!
Special thanks to all the people here with all the problems and all the people that provided solutions.  You just don't know when somebody had the same problem you have now, and the fix is .. right here!!  Cheesy

If I forgot anybody... it's because I'm old.

I know I'm nowhere near eligible yet, but I only bought the bike last December (new). Amongst all those impressive high mileage speedometer photos, I just wanted to show off the lovely Oxford clock alongside my speedo. My odometer will get there, this bike's a keeper!

Congrats Jasbee,...
You've got some riding to do to get 25k... but don't worry, it'll be fun...

40k of your Aussie miles... Grin
...roughly translates to 25k miles...

Ride safe,... and ride a lot...

OK, I'm a relatively new S40 rider. Being keen to progress to eligibility for the Miles Hall of Fame, I posted in March 2016 that my (new in Dec 2015) S40 had then passed 5000 km. It's now done 10,000 kms so I'm posting again. Further posting will occur at 20,000 then eventually 40,000. I'm 74, so hope I make it! The bike is great.

cheers
Jasbee
