I ran my exhaust pipe almost the same as yours, mine came out on the opposite side but the same place. I have been cooking by butt every stoplight, and in traffic, will be re-routing soon. Just givin some tried and true advice

I am concerned about the exhaust doing just that... Cooking my tushy! Did u ever have gas evaporating from the float bowl. Issues?  It looks so mean I hate to think about changing it...  Sad

Tried to link it from your post... not sure who all will be able to see it, but I think it looks good (Must have some sort of story to go with it)

Thanks for doing that!! So the story goes like this:
A few years ago Roland Sans made a bike called "El Barracho" it means the drunkard.  I thought, that's cool... Naming your bike something and doing it in Spanish.  I'm an Irish dude from Northern New England... Go figure.  So the original decal on th stock savage tank said "the Big Single". I looked up that literal translation and one of the choices was El Gordo.  The english equivalent to "The Fat One". Seems appropriate.... Big fat single cylinder!  The painter surprised me with the fat Mexican dude on there. I love it!  He also did some 80's skateboard logos on the sides for me since I have a skate deck fender and wheel for a brake light housing.
Thanks for asking! Grin

Made some progress today.  Nick at Forever Two Wheels made a decompression control on his new lathe.

And a new place to mount the coil.

Some pics of the almost finished bike

Can't wait to ride Grin

That knob for the decompression lever looks nice....now you need to make a longer lever to give you more leverage.  I don't believe you are going to be strong enough to push the exhaust valves open with that tiny lever that the solenoid cable pulled on.
