Hope you read this before too long and can give your vote.

The weather looks great for the stay at your house. The bike show weather looks good, and it would be fun to enter my bike in the show. I would also have my trailer and mattress....and it is a great place to sleep.

It appears only you and I are going to the Blueridge Motorcycle Campground.....and we might have another rider show up one day. The Tuesday weather calls for a strong Thunderstorm. The ride out on Sunday looks good, Monday looks good, and Wednesday is for an occasional rain shower.

If I take the Savage in the trailer....that would mean you would have to ride out there by yourself on a bike...while I have my bike in the trailer. The good news is we would have a car at the Campground to use on Tuesday if the weather was really bad. It is likely the campground won't be serving any breakfast on Tuesday....or dinner either....having a car and my Savage would be nice.

The other option is that I ride my Honda down - which has room to pack my stuff, and it is a whole lot more comfortable to ride in the rain. I would then be able to ride with you to the Blueridge - but we would not have a car if the weather is bad.

Let me know if you have a strong feeling either way. I would like to bring the Savage.....but the Honda is fun to ride as well! The Dragon is only 5 hours away for me.....and I could come down and do a few days on the Savage anytime. My trailer makes a good camper for both me and the bike....so all I need is a campground with a shower.

Your a sure winner if you bring the Suzuki and the car might be nice if it does rain. You still got a cabin at the Blue-ridge? I have mixed feelings about hanging around the Lounge (reading old bike rags) at the Blue-ridge all day Tuesday waiting for the rain to quit. I'm OK with riding to the Dragon area by myself (been doing it ever year for ??? years).

How ever if you bring the ST1100 I'll ride the Harley to the Dragon area , if you bring the Suzuki I'll ride the S-40. (its a no-loose-situation for me), the S-40 is a little more comfortable as long as I leave the interstate out of the picture. Cheesy

Yep....I still have the cabin reserved at the Blueridge Campground.

The weather for the portion at your house looks great....so I will pack up the Savage and bring it down. We will watch the weather and on Sunday I can either continue with the Savage, or leave your place early on Sunday and swing by home and pick up the Honda and ride or trailer it down.

Still planning on coming down Saturday! All of the local stations here are calling for scattered showers, but only 30% chance...we might have to dodge a few drops, but we should be good!
