I'm saying that a union gatekeeper is going to select people that are more liberal than conservative because it's all about who you know. Letters of recommendation and such, I've seen it before in many places, members refer their friends who can be trusted. I'm not saying that a few independants and conservatives slip through but the majority of union members who are chosen by the union will follow the ideology of the union. Why were the donations to Obama vs Romney on an order of 20 to 1 even though Romney was a much better candidate?

Well, here is a great example of intellectual integrity, JOG is able to acknowledge when a point is lacking enough foundation, with dignity and honor, and not to push an indefensible position for ideological reasons. Thank you for setting a good example for others who are lacking in this area!!!
