Hi Everyone
Rode  my bike yesterday and found the clutch is slipping in the higher grears(4&5) is there any adjustments that can be made or do i have to get new plates? If i do can you put new plates in without taking at all to pieces?
Any help would be greatly apreciated

What kind of oil are you using?  It is common for a clutch to slip if you have used an oil that is not made for motorcycles with wet clutches, or used an additive that is not suitable for wet clutches.  Anything with "Friction Modifiers" is a problem.

Have you tried the Search Function or looked in the Technical Section?

Here is a link I found in the Technical Section Index that explains how the clutch works and what goes wrong with it.

To date no one has ever worn out a set of clutch plates.

If contaminated with energy star components (using wrong oil) you can clean the shite off of the steels and the fibers and reuse them.

A change of clutch rod may be needed as well.

You need to read up some before doing anything --- but if you want to replace your plates just because you want to replace your plates I have a new set I can let you hold cheap .....
