idles but dies upon acceleration.
Should a Jet set fix this problem???
If so, do you have any available? will order immediately.
Suggestion on sizes?
Thanks

For a stocker with a sporty muffler you will likely need 52.5 pilot & 152.5 main jet, and 3 washers in place of the white spacer. Then tune for highest rpm at idle with the pilot screw.
As for the issue you are dealing with now, the engine dieing on acceleration. You did not say what jets are in the carb now. This problem could be because a previous owner put some crazy jets in the carb, or more likely is that there is some crud blocking one or more of the tiny passageways in the carb. I would pull the carb and totally disassemble and clean everything, making sure each and every passageway is clear. Some are so tiny that they are hard to see. The smallest is in the bowl, it is the little brass tube hangine down from the carb body. There is a hole in the very end and 2 more, one on each side. Then there are 4 on the sides of the needle jet. There are several in the carb body itself.
They must be clean.
Use lots of carb cleaner and some very small/tiny wires to insure they flow.
