Have been slowly giving her some TLC (oil and filter change, air filter, brake fluids and pads etc.). Just replaced the stock muffler with a Jardine and from what I understand, despite it running OK rejetting should bring out optimum performance.
2 questions, first are you still able to provide the JETSET parts to do the rejet? and second...if you have any advice on what combination of jets would be best used with this muffler? Savage is a 1999.
All help would be greatly appreciated and if you are able to still supply the parts I will be PayPal'ing you the dough immediately.
The engine is jetted lean from the factory and with a Jardine it will be even leaner. Some folks with a Jardine have a #52.5 pilot and others #55, and for main jets most seem to use the #155, though a few #152.5.
I suggest the #52.5 pilot and #155 main jet.
Also, you should replace the white plastic spacer on the needle with the 3 washers in the JETSET.
THe price is $29.95 including shipping and you can PayPal to savage.s40@gmail.com.
