We've moved...

Some of you may remember back when Bert's board was still around. I lived on an old plantation outside Memphis. We moved back to the farm in early April.

Still have the Savage, still not running. Hope to have it back on the road for the L'il Sturgis Rally in Sturgis MS later this year.

Lisa's brother dies in January, leaving their 85 year old father by himself to try and run/manage a 54 acre pecan farm. We told the bank they could have the house, packed our stuff, rescued my 49 Dodge truck from my parents' backyard and headed home.

I'm trying to coordinate with the 2 truck boards I belong to for a get together at the farm. Pick-ups and Pin-ups at the Plantation, but open to cars and bikes as well. Lots of parking space, lots of shade, acre plus pond (stocked), large clothing optional area... Will be at least next summer at the earliest. Have to clear a ton of brush and do some pruning before it can happen. Would like to power wash the 1840 manor house prior to an event as well.

Sorry 'bout the lack of notice pre-move. Priority was getting here.

Good to see ya back, sorry about how things went, but a plantation in Tennessee sounds like a good place to be.

After the lousy winter you had in the PNW I'm sure a move is much appreciated. Interesting, there were lots of pecan groves in the area where we spend the winter, San Tan Valley , AZ. Most have been allowed to die off from lack of water or converted into housing areas. We back in Moses Lake now and finding the early cold damage to the tress and plants was pretty widespread. One cherry farmer lost 1500 tress to the freeze. Take care, Max

No air conditioning at the pond, so... once you are past the barn...

Can't post any pics, can't find the camera cord yet. And I don't want you guys spewing beer all over your keyboards, the 49 is a bit of a heap. But my 63 Scrambler 250 turned track bike fits in the bed...
