It means nothing,... 5 min. at a traffic light can do it,... one experience with a faulty petcock,.. or one ride up a mountain...
... and you can't jet a bike properly by reading pipe color... lean or rich will blue a pipe the same... among many other things...

To me,...
taking the blue off a pipe, is like refinishing a vintage Les Paul... or cleaning the patina off fine silver...
Mine with 25,000 miles... Grin
